NorCal NPL



The NorCal NPL serves as the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Division of the NorCal Premier League. The NorCal NPL Division is one of 19 leagues across the United States that are part of the NPL, which has been created to provide a national developmental platform with the highest level of competition in given geographic areas, and to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape based upon fundamental principles in US Club Soccer’s 10-year vision. The champions of each NPL (including the NorCal NPL) are awarded a spot in the US Club NPL National Finals.





NorCal NPL 2016-17 Application



The NorCal NPL consists of three seasons of play including Fall, Winter, and Spring. In the Fall teams attempt to qualify for Champions League play in the Spring. Each winner of the NPL Spring Champions League is crowned NorCal NPL Champions for their age group.





NorCal NPL College Showcase Events



In the U15-U19 age groups each NPL accepted team play league matches at two College Showcase events in Northern California. For more information on each Showcase take a look at our Showcase recaps from 2015-16 below.

NorCal NPL History


The 2016-17 season will mark the 6th season of play in the NorCal NPL. Four clubs have won NPL National Titles with Lamorinda United U17G (2013), Placer United U17B (2014), PAC San Jose U17B (2015), and Santa Clara Sporting U14B (2015) each taking home the top prize.






US Club NPL Finals


The winner of the NorCal NPL Champions League division in the U14-U19 age groups qualifies directly for the 2017 US Club NPL Finals. The NPL Finals features the champions of all 19 NPL's across the United States. One of the most prestigious championships in the country, the NPL Finals is the targeted destination for all NPL teams throughout the year-long, league-based competition each season.





NPL National Showcase Series


NPL teams have access to the US Club NPL National Showcase Series which includes the NPL Girls Showcase in Florida and access to NPL spots at the San Diego Surf Cup and Jefferson Cup in Virginia.
