Central California Soccer Alliance closed out the NorCal NPL Championship in style this weekend at the NorCal NPL Fall Showcase. Needing only one point to secure the division title, CCSA instead secured all six points available over the weekend, beating Galaxy Blues (1-0) and Diablo FC (3-0). By winning the NorCal NPL title, CCSA qualify for the 2015-16 NPL Finals this July in Aurora, Colorado. FC Elk Grove clinched second place on Saturday with a (3-0) win over Palo Alto Green. Placer United had an excellent weekend, securing six points and finishing in third.

Mustang NPL Academy



Coming into the NorCal NPL Fall Showcase, both Mustang NPL and SMC Star had clinched first and second place, respectively. Last weekend, Mustang NPL finished their undefeated NPL season with a 1-0 win over EBU Bay Oaks and a 4-0 win over San Ramon Azuri. Second place, SMC Star, only played non-league matches over the weekend. Finishing third was SF Elite who won both their matches this weekend over Walnut Creek (2-1) and EBU Bay Oaks (1-0).
