Marin FC took home the NPL 1 Fall crown this weekend at the NorCal NPL Fall Showcase, overtaking Odyssey South for the top spot. Marin FC won the division with a five point cushion by picking up wins over Tecos (2-1) and Santa Clara Sporting (1-0), while Odyssey South dropped both matches over the weekend. The real drama was the battle for the final four Champions League spots. A 3-3 tie for Tecos Hayward against De Anza Force clinched the third spot for Tecos. SMC Star clinched the fourth Champions League spot with a 4-3 win over Odyssey South in an exciting back-and-forth match. SJ Earthquakes picked up six points on Saturday and then secured a last minute draw against SRU Arsenal to lock up the fifth spot. The final spot was earned by Alliance FC who, needing a win, beat EBU Bay Oaks 2-1 to beat out SRU Arsenal based on the head-to-head tiebreaker.






U16 Boys NPL 2 - Fall

Diablo FC locked up the NPL 2 Fall title with a 3-1 win over MVLA Jaguars on Saturday at the NorCal NPL Fall Showcase. Atletico Santa Rosa finished in second place after beating Ballistic, 3-2, and drawing with third place Mustang, 1-1. Ballistic United finished in fourth place after beating PAC San Jose 4-2 on Sunday.






U16 Boys NPL 1 - Winter


The first NPL 1 Winter division matches were played this weekend at the NorCal NPL Fall Showcase. Atletico United FC finished the weekend in first place with four points after a 1-1 draw with Placer United and a 2-1 win over San Juan. Sacramento United are in second place after beating Monarcas Academy 1-0 in their only league match of the weekend. Monarcas leave the Showcase in third place, despite the loss, as they picked up a 3-1 win over San Juan on Saturday. The NPL 1 Winter division continues on December 5th.
